Judge denies Prince Andrew’s request to toss out Virginia Giuffre lawsuit

A judge has given the green light to a lawsuit by a woman who has accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was 17. The prince's lawyers asked for the case to be dismissed because of a settlement Virginia Giuffre reached with lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein. Ultimately, it boils down to how far the United States can dictate a U.K. Citizen to follow their rulings.

They’re certainly not shy on enforcing that Australians be sent to face American Courts when the same Whistleblowing, had it been on China, would have landed said Australian several Nobel Peace Prize Nominations from the West.

But sending U.S. Citizens to face British Courts doesn’t seem to be a thing, so what’s good for the goose is good for the gander …

    Fátima Beirão says:

The truth is that, for a person to be free from trial in a civil case under a contract whereby the sexually abused person undertakes not to disclose the identity of the abusers, this means that the person who is free to be tried in a civil case for committing crimes of sexual abuse, he was part of the group of abusers, which means that he also committed crimes of sexual abuse. So, invoking the contract between Virginia Giuffrey and Epstein seems to be also not a good thing for public image of Prince Andrew.
