This news segment was very well made. It spoke to every single point that we’ve all been saying about violence in hip hop. It’s just too much and it’s very traumatic to say the least. I had to stop listening to hip hop because it went from talent and skills to being straight up demonic…RIP to Adolph Thornton jr. , Ermias Asghedom,Tupac Shakur,Christopher Wallace, Bashar Jackson, Dayvon Bennett, and Darell Caldwell ❤️

    Cattle Black says:

I hope the current big name guys see what’s going on with all the jealousy and envy and follow the foot steps of Jay z, drake, slim thug and many others who never spoke it or gave up the gangster stuff and just got or still getting the money and fame… I wouldn’t know but the transition over has to be simple when you’ve basically made it already

    Dominic Brogsdale says:

Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” The stakes are high. Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death.

NO ONE should die just living their lives trying to better themselves ❤️Could he have dabbed in da street MAYBE..but he HELPED his family& community AFTER HE MADE IT.. ANYONE ELSE doing that!?!?? janice powers says:

This has me in tears. Im older and not up on rap but this is painful to see. These guns have to be taken off the street. More opportunity has to be available in these cities and a shift in the value system. God says we are all worthy, let it be so.

    Zanders Miranda says:

Did you listen to the interview….gang, rap and power to be on top. The message is clearer so voice your opinions and concerns to your community and work together to find a solution.

    John Galt says:

Correction, these KILLERS need to be taken off the streets, KILLERS have been KILLING way before guns were invented

    Benjamin Franklin says:

    Nina B says:

@J P No matter where it happened, it was his responsibility to get himself and his family somewhere safe. If men got ties to the streets and don’t wanna step away from it, they just shouldn’t start a family at this point. The excuses don’t matter. 🤷🏾‍♀️

    Nicholas Farino says:

Amazing how jazz, R&B, country, rock, classical, and blues artists don’t killed at the insane rate that rap stars do….. It couldn’t be all the drugs, guns, gangs, and money issues they get invovled in, rap about, or associate with. Overall just a really sad situation but totally avoidable.

    Destini X Shakur says:

    Who gave it to us?

    Zoltan Gyulasi says:

    Fizon Idea says:

I stopped listening to Rap music few years ago, the majority of it, just tired of the violence, culture, hate, you take out the beats, the message is crazy, you listen to it over and over and over, you think its true, endless circle, around around and around

    Benjamin Franklin says:

Listen to Young Dolph- Hold up Hold up Hold up. His music mostly reacted to violence and he motivated young men like me.

    B!LT Podcast says:

I can’t stand seeing people say ignorant ish like that. Hell, r&b singers even have violent songs. Don’t just call out one genre call em all out. So you must’ve started listening only to gospel because majority of this bullshit being put out is on some domestic abuse or some type of violence.

    Zoltan Gyulasi says:

    Rap is garbage now…

    Mario Orozco says:

You can just tell how good a father/person dolph was by his sons words at the stand. 💯👌🏼 R.I.P Dolph Gabbana!

    Adam Berba says:

His little boy is already years ahead of his time. Dolph would be proud🙌

    KTommyCreative says:

Man…his son speaking of his dad and the lessons Dolph taught him on how to be a good man, that just broke my heart right there. You can tell Dolph was a good dad by those words that kid spoke. He is going to miss his dad more than anything, but he will always remember the lessons learned. That will be more valuable than anything else Dolph could have given him. Look forward to this young man growing up to be President one day…or maybe something far greater than any of us could imagine. His options will be unlimited thanks to the doors his father has opened for him. All of the hip hop industry will be behind this family…because not only was Dolph a good man, but he was trying to help others and allow them to do good as well. This piece really did illustrate how Dolph was out there in the community trying to promote peace and allowing the young to grow old and stop acting as if life doesn’t matter. He was trying to teach these kids the value of life, and he became another casualty of the war he was trying to end.

Black on black violence is a whole other type of evil. They really don’t want to see anyone doing better than them…jealousy is an ugly thing. I know Dolph would’ve helped Johnson do his thing, as he wasn’t really a bad rapper (yeah, he sounded like Sheisty, as many have noted).

These 2 men are just demons who don’t know the value of life…which makes sense, as Dolph was worth 100 of them combined (likely more than that).

RIP Adolph…and no worries, the world will look out for your children and family. No one would ever allow harm to come to them, of that I am sure.

The world may be ugly, but there is beauty sprinkled throughout.
